On one of the final really wonderful Sunday afternoons in September 2014, my friend Ken and I travelled to Mount Carmel, a high hill used as a Catholic shrine and event site. It is located a few kilometers north of Carmel, Saskatchewan, a hamlet just West of Humboldt Saskatchewan. We walked the path of the Stations of the Cross and climbed the hill and there stopped for prayer time and a celebration lunch. My new companion Thrum came along and enjoyed the trip as much as we did. It was a day to share the blessings of Mother Eath and give thanks for many gifts received. Hoop Boy |
